SmokeFree Philly is a program of the Philadelphia Department of Public Health that coordinates tobacco cessation and chronic disease prevention programs, raises community and public awareness through counter-marketing initiatives, and promotes and monitors the restriction of youth access to
tobacco products.

The Tobacco Control Program is a part of the City's Division of Chronic Disease Prevention, which also includes Steps to a Healthier Philadelphia.

SmokeFree Philly is funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Health, through the 1998 Master Settlement Agreement between 46 states and the tobacco industry.
